JOB SUMMARY:

Delon Jobs is helping a leading investment company inNigeria to hire Senior Data Analyst. The successful candidate will beresponsible for backend development and maintenance of applications. We require5 to 7 years progressive experience developing data models, building predictivemodels and machine-learning algorithms, guiding system analysts, engineers,programmers, as well as driving complex analytics projects requiring multiple team collaborations among analysts and external stakeholders from beginning toend. Gross salary is negotiable between N7M-9M per annum. Required Competencies Knowledge/Qualification

Bachelor’s degree or HND (minimum of 2nd Class Lower)

NYSC Discharge certificate

 

Technical Experience

Ability to guide System Analysts, Engineers, Programmers andothers on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements andinterfaces relating to retail development within the organization.

Drive complex analytics projects requiring multiple-teamcollaboration among analysts or stakeholders from beginning to end.

Deploy solutions and engage the business units on strategicinitiatives to help in achieving set goals.

Develop data models; build predictive models andmachine-learning algorithms.

Monitor the performance of strategic goals and follow-up onintervention action items.

Undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data.

Perform engineering of physical data models from databasesand SQL scripts.

Evaluate data models and physical databases for variancesand discrepancies.

Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends,patterns and provide insights.

Coordinate monthly target setting for the business.

Track and measure business and employee key performanceindicators.

Serve as input into the HCM performance measurement processes.

Prepare board and other adhoc reports.
