Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

Delon Jobs is helping a leading investment company in Nigeria to hire Senior Data Analyst. The successful candidate will be responsible for backend development and maintenance of applications. We require 5 to 7 years progressive experience developing data models, building predictive models and machine-learning algorithms, guiding system analysts, engineers, programmers, as well as driving complex analytics projects requiring multipole team collaborations among analysts and external stakeholders from beginning to end. Gross salary is negotiable between N7M-9M per annum. Required Competencies Knowledge/Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree or HND (minimum of 2nd Class Lower)
  • NYSC Discharge certificate

Technical Experience

  • Ability to guide System Analysts, Engineers, Programmers and others on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces relating to retail development within the organization.

  • Drive complex analytics projects requiring multiple-team collaboration among analysts or stakeholders from beginning to end.
  • Deploy solutions and engage the business units on strategic initiatives to help in achieving set goals.
  • Develop data models; build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms.
  • Monitor the performance of strategic goals and follow-up on intervention action items.
  • Undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data.
  • Perform engineering of physical data models from databases and SQL scripts.
  • Evaluate data models and physical databases for variances and discrepancies.
  • Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends, patterns and provide insights.
  • Coordinate monthly target setting for the business.
  • Track and measure business and employee key performance indicators.
  • Serve as input into the HCM performance measurement processes.
  • Prepare board and other adhoc reports.
