DelonJobs is seeking to hire a Senior Data Scientist fora tier-1 bank in Nigeria. The Senior Data Scientists will be key players in theAdvanced Analytics group of the DMO. Who will Discover the information hiddenin vast amounts of data, make smarter decisions to deliver even betterproducts, services, improve our customer relationship as well as optimize ourbusiness processes. The Senior Data Scientist’s primary focus will be inapplying Artificial Intelligence (AI) / Machine Learning (ML) / Data Mining(DM) techniques, doing Statistical Analysis (SA), and building high qualityprediction models/systems integrated with our platforms to bring Business Value.6 to 10 years of hands-on experience with common data science/data miningtools/frameworks/solutions (SAS, IBM, etc) or 5 years of hands-on experiencewith TensorFlow, Spark ML, Azure ML) and solutions/languages, such as Python,Jupiter, Microsoft AI/ML platform/toolset, SQL-Server ML. Master’s Degree inappropriate field of study. At least 10 years of equivalent work experience inthe Retail Banking sector, minimum 10 years of experience in operationalizingin real life / production AI/ML/DM/SA solutions, minimum 10 years of hands-onexperience with common data science toolkits/frameworks (TensorFlow, Spark ML,Azure ML) and solutions/languages, such as Python, Jupiter, Microsoft AI/MLplatform/toolset, SQL-Server ML, minimum 5 years of Hands-on experience withReal Time data Processing tool like Kafka, as well as with Spark. Grade band is (DM- DGR). Key Responsibilities

Selecting building, optimizing AI/ML/DM/SA models, andoperationalize them in productive environments

AI/ML/DM/SA using state-of-the-art methods

Extending company’s data with third party sources ofinformation when needed

Enhancing data collection procedures to includeinformation that is relevant for building analytic systems

Extracting, Processing, cleansing, verifying theintegrity and quality of data used for analysis

Doing ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in aclear manner; constantly tracking of model’s performance

Integrate model outputs into business applications(like CRM, ERP), and Reporting/Dashboarding tools (Microsoft PowerBI, ReportingServices) or develop if needed web-based front-end layers

Create informative, actionable, and repeatablereporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities forimprovement

Conduct insightful, ad hoc analyses to investigateongoing or one-time operational issues

 Collaboratewith Retail banking, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Operations, etc. to buildscalable processes and metrics
