DelonJobs is seeking to hire a Senior Database Administrator for a tier-1 bank in Nigeria who will oversee and maintain all aspects of the Bank’s Database. This includes maintaining Database patches, configuration and Database programs and systems. The individual will monitor database status using necessary monitoring application and tools. Annual salary is between NGN 9million – NGN 12million. Candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or operational sciences with minimum of 6 years IT Operations experience in a technology environment. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor Database status using necessary Monitoring Application and tools.
- Carry out all suggested Database maintenance activities to keep the integrity of the Database at 100%.
- Ensure proper functioning of all Databases under your purview.
- Carry out Database audit, periodic vulnerability assessment.
- Generate and send Database Reports (daily, weekly, monthly).

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- First degree in Computing Science, Engineering, Operational sciences or (any other discipline with strong Information Systems component and/or relevant IT Service Management certification).
- Oracle certification.
- Minimum of 6 years IT Operations experience in a technology environment.
