Responsibilities
- Report to top management on issues requiring immediate management attention.
- Ensure plant equipment preventive maintenance program is effective and manages the companies EMMS.
- Plan maintenance workload of staff.
- Ordering of spare parts and tools in liaison with head of procurement.
- Ensure that equipment breakdowns are given adequate attention and issues resolved in good time
- Identify staff training needs.
- Liaise with contractors to execute outsourced maintenance jobs.
- Prepare management reports.
