DelonJobs is seeking to hire a Senior Specialist, Channels Service Delivery for a leading financial service in Lagos, Nigeria. The individual would be responsible for managing day to day operational issues with respect to the day-to-day operation of the Bank’s Channels applications. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate Support of the Bank’s applications.
- Take the lead in deployments of hot-fixes, patches and updates to the Omni-channel stacks and other channel stacks.
- Perform capacity planning and management to ensure adequate provision of hardware resources.
- Co-ordinate problem management activities and perform root cause analysis for hardware related failures.
- Deploy resources effectively to ensure stability in line with expectations system reliability targets.
- Co-ordinate seamless failover between active and alternative systems provisioned in line with high availability objectives.
- Coordinate system changes.
- Perform preventative maintenance; specify design changes; amend program specifications; update user/operations documentation.
Skills & Competencies:
- Good interpersonal skill.
- Ability to write efficient SQL queries on Oracle, SQL and other common databases.
- Ability to analyze issues and provide adequate support to users.
- Good understanding of the Channels solution objectives.
- Good understanding of transaction entries and reconciliation.
- Ability to review transactions and identify root cause of failure.
- Good knowledge of various components within the payment infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in any of the following IT disciplines: application development, systems integration & middleware, database management, and server administration.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation and negotiation. Excellent analytical skills, written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Minimum of ITIL Foundation.
