Liaise with the coordinators at the LCBC RSS Secretariat and AUC to advise on the location of stabilization programs based on security assessment by the MNJTF
Develop synergies with other regionally focused programs including SPRR/PRR/CBRR, peacebuilding, resilience, cross border cooperation for PVE, and protection of civilians
Act as a focal point in managing MNJTF’s relationship with relevant stakeholders and structures in line with its core mandate and as it relates to the RSS
Manage and coordinate MNJTF’s partnership with regional organizations including the AU, relevant regional economic communities and other stakeholders were relevant as it relates to the RSS
Act as an interlocutor between the MNJTF, AU MST, LCBC RSS Secretariat, UN entities and relevant stakeholders for joint priority-setting for RSS funds utilization
Prepare monthly MNJTF updates for relevant RSS actors based on security assessment by the MNJTF
Convene stakeholder’s coordination meeting based on security assessment ahead of project commencement on areas ready for the MNJTF’s hold and build sequence
Strengthen MNJTF’s linkage with LCBC member states’ coordination mechanisms
Initiate an information system for coordination to collect and share information that is essential to effective coordination related to MNJTF and RSS-related activities
Develop strategies on compliance towards the effective integration of the POC strategy and SOP on treatment and handling of persons associated with Boko Haram into force operations
Report to the Heads of Peace Support Operations Division (PSOD) and Conflict Management and Post Conflict Reconstruction and Development (CMPCRD) Division at the AU Headquarters on policy-related matters of the RSS implementation
Perform any other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
