Job Description

Responsibilities

1. Meeting with Engineers, Architects, and contractors on an ongoing basis regarding project objectives and progress.
2. Managing and motivating  site foremen and teams.
3. Ensuring all equipment needed is available on site.
4. Ensuring budget costs relating to wages, contractors, materials and equipment aren’t exceeded.
5. Approving purchase requests.
6. Ensuring the construction process starts and ends on time and ensuring daily and weekly deadlines are met.
7. Ensuring compliance  with health, Safety  and other regulations.
8. Review the work progress on daily basis.
9. Conducting on-going quality Inspections.

Requirements

1. Must be a Graduate of Civil/Structural Engineering from any reputable University/ Polytechnic.
2. Must have requisite site experience, minimum of 5 years in Site supervision of building construction projects.
3. Must be COREN  registered or in the process of being registered.
4. Must have ability to communicate effectively both with the project team, visiting clients, and statutory authority personnel.
5. Must have the ability to effectively manage people and time.
6. Must be able to use basic levelling and surveying tools.
7. Must be a result -oriented  person, self – driven, and performer. 
8. Have unrelenting ability to own a process and ensure results.
