Job Description

Responsibilities:

  1. Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g., original text, photos, videos and news);
  2. Promoting products, services, and content over social media, in a way that is consistent with the college’s brand and social media strategy;
  3. Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics;
  4. Developing new social media strategies and campaigns;
  5. Keeping track of data and analyzing the performance of social media campaigns;
  6. Collaborating with colleagues from across departments to ensure branding is consistent;
  7. Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor reviews/comments;
  8. Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g., Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and newsletter layout);
  9. Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions;
  10. Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications.

Requirements:

  1. A graduate in marketing or related discipline.
  2. Proven experience in similar role.
  3. In-depth knowledge of algorithm & workings of various social media channels.
  4. Ability to deliver creative and engaging content.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  6. Knowledge of online marketing channels.
  7. Excellent knowledge of search engine optimization, keyword research and google analytics.
  8. Willing to work onsite (including Saturdays) and remotely.
