Job Description
he Fellow will be expected to:
- Act as a leader in the day-to-day running of study activities in Zomba Central Hospital, timely reporting and supervision of project personnel, and management of budgetary issues in liaison with the IMPALA Project Coordinators.
- Interact closely with team members to develop a thorough understanding of relevant study procedures and processes.
- Be responsible for participant engagement and recruitment activities.
- Undertake interviews and focus group discussions in collaboration with the investigators/academic supervisors.
- Facilitate transcription and translation and ensure the preservation of high-quality data.
- Ensure data security, including confidentiality and safe backup.
- Ensure ethical conduct of research and support ethics governance, including documenting informed consent and organizing the protocol study file.
- Undertake proposal writing, data analysis, including coding, and writing academic articles.
- Be responsible for organisational, budgetary, and logistical tasks.
- Disseminate research findings using appropriate media outlets.
- Present at conferences or exhibit IMPALA work at other appropriate events.
- Monitor and communicate progress, maintain workplan, ensure timely execution of tasks.
- Perform other related duties as assigned from time to time.
