Job Description
DelonJobs is seeking to hire a Software Engineer for a leading financial service in Lagos, Nigeria. The Software Engineer is expected to guarantee the creation of in-house solutions and applications to meet the demands of the enterprise. Additionally, the creation of bespoke solutions must be within the confines of modern software development frameworks and methodologies.
Responsibilities:
- Producing clean, efficient code based on specifications.
- Work with developers to design algorithms and flowcharts.
- Integrate software components and third-party programs.
- Testing and deploying programs and solutions.
- Fixing and improving existing software.
- Gather and evaluate user feedback.
- Recommend and execute improvements.
- Create technical documentation for reference and reporting.
Competencies and Qualifications:
- Understanding of the IT environment compliance policies and standards
- Experience with C# .NET and Flutter
- Knowledge of the Banking Industry & Banking Business
- In-depth knowledge and experience of single and multi-instance databases
- Knowledge of implementing database replication technologies
- In-depth knowledge and experience of modern programming languages.
- In-depth knowledge of Linux, windows operating systems
- Knowledge of code reviewing techniques
- Knowledge of implementing database replication technologies
- Knowledge or database backup strategies.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline preferably Information Technology or Computer science
- Recognized professional certification will be an added advantage with 2+ years of programme management experience.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience, out of which 1 year must have been spent in a similar role.
