Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to join our team at Softhills Limited. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, including sales, customer service, inventory management, staff supervision, and financial performance. You will lead a team of sales associates, set performance targets, and ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the store. Your leadership, strategic planning, and customer-centric approach will contribute to the success and growth of our retail business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Revenue Generation: Drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets by implementing effective sales strategies, promotions, and marketing initiatives. Analyze sales trends, customer preferences, and market dynamics to identify opportunities for revenue optimization and product expansion. Ensure that sales associates provide excellent customer service and actively engage with customers to meet their needs and exceed their expectations.
- Customer Service Excellence: Foster a customer-centric culture and ensure that all customers receive exceptional service and support. Train and mentor sales associates on effective sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer engagement strategies. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a timely and professional manner to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Inventory Management: Manage store inventory levels, stock replenishment, and product merchandising to optimize sales and minimize stockouts and overstock situations. Conduct regular inventory audits, cycle counts, and stock checks to maintain accurate inventory records and ensure inventory accuracy. Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of products and replenishment of stock.
- Staff Recruitment and Development: Recruit, onboard, and train qualified sales associates to build a high-performing and customer-focused team. Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to enhance employee productivity, morale, and engagement. Develop and implement training programs, workshops, and skill development initiatives to improve staff performance and effectiveness.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards to maintain a safe, clean, and organized store environment. Monitor and enforce store security protocols, loss prevention measures, and safety regulations to protect assets, prevent theft, and ensure employee and customer safety. Implement efficient store workflows, processes, and systems to streamline operations and maximize productivity.
- Financial Management: Manage store budgets, expenses, and financial performance to achieve profitability targets and optimize cost efficiency. Monitor sales performance, expenses, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify variances, trends, and opportunities for improvement. Develop and implement action plans to address areas of concern and drive financial results.
- Marketing and Promotions: Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute marketing campaigns, promotions, and events to drive foot traffic, increase brand awareness, and boost sales. Implement effective merchandising strategies, product displays, and signage to enhance the visual appeal of the store and promote product visibility.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present regular reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to senior management to track store performance, analyze trends, and identify areas for improvement. Use data analytics and insights to make informed decisions, drive continuous improvement, and optimize store operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail management, preferably in consumer electronics, home appliances, or a related industry.
- Proven track record of success in driving sales, achieving revenue targets, and managing store operations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and retail management software.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
