Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Take possession of all incoming materials and check them against purchase orders.
- Keep track of, record, and correct any errors with orders you’ve received.
- Update records of physical inventory totals, receipts, adjustments, and returns to ensure the facility’s inventory system is accurate.
- Manage supplies and inventory to keep them within the predetermined minimum and maximum levels.
- Maintain accurate records of all purchases, sales, and withdrawals from the stockroom.
- It is your responsibility to package, charge, label, and return items.
- Rotating stocks and coordinating the disposal of excess
- Oversee the movement of equipment, the handling of freight, and minor repairs
- Maintaining high ethical standards in contacts both internally and outside, managing supplier relations and database.
- To carry out low-value procurement tasks, use purchasing cards and purchase orders.
