Job Description

Job Summary

The Technical Product Manager will be responsible for growth systems within the organisation merging our hardware services with our software services and leveraging data for success.

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Drive the execution of the roadmap for specific products within our product basket implementing innovative solutions for Mottainai Recycling Customers
  2. Liaise , negotiate and partner with mobile network operators, banks and payment aggregators to get the most performance and cost effective payment integrations for Mottainai Recycling
  3. Collate and process data appropriately for external and internal use
  4. Be responsible for product market fit and product market research
  5. Identify companies growth opportunities and manage products teams effort to maximise opportunity
  6. Define product vision, align stakeholders on product vision, and prioritise product features and capabilities
  7. Communicate & coordinate diligently with technology stakeholders.
  8. Plan and orchestrate feature releases in collaboration with Customers, Engineering and Business Development
  9. Drive companies product to reach next level of scale, impact and profitability
  10. Study, analyse and report trends, opportunities for expansion and projection for future company growth.
  11. Manage the software engineering team
  12. Prepare and review detailed product requirements, design features, write specs, refine feedback, help write test plans, manage backlog and launch products.
  13. Run experiments to improve and optimise product performance
  14. Ensure product release are launched correctly and on schedule
  15. Communicate product updates effectively to product teams and stakeholders.
  16. Build an efficient product team whose culture is suited to the challenging and experimental nature of the work.
  17. Develop product pricing and positioning strategies
  18. Prepare and review detailed product requirements
  19. Design wireframes for product features
  20. Run experiments to improve and optimise product performance
  21. Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
  22. Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
  23. Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources
  24. Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding
  25. Measure and report success on implementation
  26. Coach and mentor staff in the product team.

Requirements and Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science and / or related equivalent experience
  2. 4 years of product management experience with demonstrated ability to drive product decisions, work with cross-disciplinary teams and deliver on outstanding products from scratch
  3. Proven track history managing a successful product across all aspects of its lifecycle
  4. Strong problem solving and analytical skills, with a get-it-done attitude
  5. Ability to conduct user research, user interviews, usability testing sessions
  6. Ability to make data-informed product iterations
  7. Solid technical background with hands-on experience in software development or web technologies preferred
  8. Experience in designing and implementing , and/or integrating third party softwares
  9. Experience with payments or financial services preferred
  10. Highly organised, self-motivated worker with the ability to effectively multi-task
  11. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  12. Experience with cross platform applications
  13. Experience using PowerBI , Microsoft Azure etc.
  14. Excellent written and oral communication skills
  15. Highly customer centric, service oriented with the ability to understand, execute, and meet customers' expectations.

N250,000 – N450,000 Monthly.
