Technical Support

DelonJobs is seeking to hire (5) Technical Support for a leading financial institution in Nigeria. The candidate will assign and coordinate IT projects in the region, designates staff assignments, establish work priorities, and evaluate cost and time requirements, also reviews completed IT projects to ensure that goals are met and that programs are compatible with other programs already in use. Interested candidates must possess a minimum of bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related numerate science or engineering discipline with a minimum of 4 years IT Operations experience in a technology environment. Job Responsibilities:

  1. Installing and configuring new technology used by the Bank, such as hardware, operating systems, and programs or applications. 
  2. Evaluates workload and capacity of computer system to determine feasibility of expanding or enhancing computer operations. 
  3. Aiding users with technology-related issues.
  4. Writing reports on the status of all hardware and software in the Bank. 
  5. Manages inverter and power management devices within the zone.

 

Job Requirements:

  1. An ability to assess each customer/employees IT knowledge levels.   
  2. Ability to deal with difficult callers.    
  3. Up-to-date technical knowledge.   
  4. An in depth understanding of the software and equipment in use at the branches.   
  5. Good accurate records keeping. 
  6. Working knowledge of security software and functionality.
  7. Analytical Skills/ Problem solving. 
  8. 1-3 years of experience as a Desktop Support Officer, IT Help Desk Technician, or similar role. 
  9. Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products. 
  10. Excellent analytical skills, written and verbal communication skills. 
  11. CCNA COMPTIAA, ITIL and other IT professional certifications are desirable.
