JOB SUMMARY:
DelonJobs is helping a leading service company in Nigeria to hire anintermediate-level web developer. We are looking for a web developer withWordPress and PHP experience who can create from concept, interactive andbeautiful websites. Using agile frameworks, he will be involved in productdevelopments in collaboration with the internal customers, project management,prioritization strategies, phased launch and post-deployment support.
Candidatesare required to have minimum Bachelors or HND qualification in ComputerScience/Electrical Engineering or Equivalent, 3years experience in webdevelopment and are willing to service internal customers across offices inNigeria, Mexico, United States and the United Kingdom. Salary is N2.4m perannum (including health insurance and pension).
JOB DESCIRIPTION:
Inaddition to the job summary detailed itemized above, candidates must have thefollowing skills and experience:
- Be able to automate internal processes related to accounting, HR and admin departments in order to help company save staffing cost
- Adept at resolving technical support issues, identifying root cause, and if necessary, escalating quickly
- Proactive at ensuring updates and upgrades are done as at when due
- Handling daily monitoring of application and systems performance
- Supporting backup and recovery procedures
- Excellent creativity and adaptability
- High sense of urgency and ability to meet tough deadlines
- Great at solving and analyzing problems and solutions
