Job Description

Job Summary

  • The Business Developer will drive sustainable growth and expand access to Charitos BO Hospital’s fertility, IVF, maternal, and infant health services.
  • This role ensures more families experience the hospital’s motto “We always care…” by building strategic partnerships, increasing patient reach, and growing revenue while maintaining the highest ethical and compassionate standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure partnerships with corporates, insurance providers, HMOs, religious organisations, embassies, and referral networks to increase patient inflow.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies (digital, community outreach, corporate wellness) that highlight compassionate, confidential fertility and maternal care.
  • Conduct market research on fertility/IVF trends in Nigeria and Abuja to position Charitos BO as the preferred Centre of Excellence.
  • Manage the full sales cycle for high-value packages (IVF, egg freezing, antenatal, etc.) while ensuring every interaction reflects respect and empathy.
  • Track ROI on all initiatives and prepare monthly reports aligned with the hospital’s mission of highest-standard health for all.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure promotional activities uphold patient confidentiality and ethical standards.
  • Represent the hospital at health expos, conferences, and media engagements with professionalism and warmth.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Health, or related field (Master’s an advantage).
  • 2 - 4 years’ proven experience in business development/healthcare sales, preferably in fertility, hospitals, or pharma in Nigeria.
  • Strong network within Abuja corporate, diplomatic, and health sectors.

Essential Skills & Attributes:

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Deep understanding of patient-centred marketing and ability to convey compassion in all messaging.
  • Results-driven with integrity and respect for cultural/religious sensitivities.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, Google Analytics, Capcut, Inshot for editing, and Microsoft Office.
  • Proficiency in content creation.
