Head of Audit (HOA0126)

About the Role

• We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Audit to lead our internal audit function.
• This is a senior leadership role with direct influence on the integrity, efficiency, and growth of our business.
• You will set the standard for governance, compliance, and operational excellence across all branches.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of comprehensive audit plans across finance, operations, and compliance
• Evaluate processes, identify risks, and recommend improvements to strengthen controls and performance
• Conduct high-level audits on financial records, procurement, inventory, and operational procedures
• Prepare and present actionable insights and reports to executive management
• Mentor and develop the audit team, building a culture of accountability and excellence
• Ensure company-wide adherence to policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices
• Partner with management to drive strategic decisions and safeguard company assets

Requirements

• Extensive audit experience, including leadership of audit teams in complex organizations
• Professional qualification (ICAN, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent)
• Deep understanding of retail operations and internal controls
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Strong leadership presence, integrity, and the ability to influence at all levels
