Scrum Master (SM0126)

DelonJobs is seeking to hire a Senior Scrum Master for a leading insurance company in Lagos, Nigeria.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating Agile ceremonies for one or more scrum teams building a multi-tenant insurance SaaS platform while also handling other project management responsibilities.

Interested candidates should possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Computer Science, or a related field with at least 5 years of Scrum Master/Agile coaching experience on large-scale SaaS/enterprise projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Scrum Facilitation: Conduct daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, removing impediments to team progress.
• Cross-functional coordination: Manage dependencies across multiple teams (Backend, DevOps, QA, Data, AI/ML).
• Project Management Duties: coordinate resources and maintain project documentation.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate sprint outcomes and next steps to the Lead Technical Architect and other senior stakeholders. 

Continuous Improvement: Coach teams on Agile best practices, promoting transparency and accountability.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, or related field.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM or PSM) is preferred but not mandatory. 
• Possess at least 5 years of Scrum Master/Agile coaching experience on large-scale SaaS/enterprise projects.

Proven ability to manage project budgets and stakeholder expectations.

Annual gross salary is between N10 million and N15 million.
