Senior DevOps Engineer (SDE0126)

DelonJobs is seeking to hire a Senior DevOps Engineer for a leading insurance company in Lagos, Nigeria. 

Key Responsibilities:

• CI/CD Pipeline Ownership: Create and maintain robust pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, automating builds, tests, and deployments.  
• Infrastructure as Code: Implement Azure infrastructure with Terraform, ARM templates, or similar, enabling multi-region failover and high availability.  
• Security & Compliance Support: Work with the security team to ensure alignment with NDPR, NIST, and IFRS 17 requirements for auditing and logging.  
• System Monitoring & Reliability: Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting (e.g., Azure Monitor, Splunk) for performance and incident response.  
• Performance Optimization: Continuously enhance deployment speed, reduce downtime, and improve overall platform resiliency. 

Key Requirements: 

•  Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. 
• Cloud certifications (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) are a strong plus. 
• 4 - 5 years in enterprise DevOps roles with proven success on cloud-native, multi-tenant SaaS platforms.  
• Hands-on expertise with Azure services, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as code tools

The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting and managing the continuous integration and deployment pipelines for a multi-tenant, cloud-native insurance SaaS solution in Azure. Emphasis is on infrastructure as code, high availability (multi-region), disaster recovery, and compliance with industry regulations.

Annual gross salary is between N10 million and N15 million.
