1 Agreement to these terms
Delon Jobs (jobs.delon.ng) is operated by
Delon Outsourcing Solutions Limited, a company registered in
Nigeria with its registered office at Suite 200, No. 41 Abule Oloni Street,
Lantoro, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
By accessing the site, creating an account, posting a job or applying for one,
you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not
accept them, do not use Delon Jobs. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company,
you confirm you have authority to bind that company.
These Terms incorporate our
Privacy Policy,
which explains how we handle personal data. Read both together.
2 Definitions
- "Platform" — the Delon Jobs website and all services provided through it.
- "Job Seeker" — a user who registers to build a profile and apply for roles.
- "Employer" — a user or organisation that registers to advertise roles and review applications.
- "Job Post" — a vacancy advertised on the Platform by an Employer.
- "Subscription" — a paid or free plan that entitles an Employer to publish a set number of Job Posts within a period.
- "Content" — anything a user submits: profiles, CVs, cover letters, Job Posts, company details and messages.
3 Eligibility
You may use Delon Jobs only if you:
- are at least 18 years old;
- are able to form a legally binding contract;
- have not previously been suspended or removed from the Platform; and
- will use the Platform in a way that complies with the laws of Nigeria and of the jurisdiction you are accessing it from.
Employers must additionally be a genuine, lawfully constituted business or an
authorised representative of one, recruiting for real vacancies.
4 Accounts and security
- You must provide accurate, current and complete information when registering, and keep it up to date.
- You must verify your email address. We may restrict access to features until you do.
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account.
- Accounts are personal to you. Do not share, sell or transfer your account, and do not register on behalf of somebody else without authority.
- Tell us immediately at info@delon.ng if you suspect unauthorised access.
- We may refuse registration, or suspend or close an account, where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.
5 Terms for job seekers
Delon Jobs is free for job seekers. When you use it, you agree that:
- everything in your profile, résumé and applications is truthful, accurate and genuinely yours;
- you will not impersonate anyone, misrepresent your qualifications or experience, or submit a CV that is not your own;
- you will not use the Platform to advertise services, solicit business or distribute unsolicited material to Employers;
- uploaded documents will be free of malware and will not infringe anyone else's rights; and
- applying to a role means consenting to your application, CV and cover letter being sent to that Employer.
You may delete your applications, résumé content and account at any time from your
dashboard.
6 Terms for employers
If you post jobs on Delon Jobs, you agree that:
- every Job Post describes a genuine, currently available vacancy with an identifiable employer;
- you will not use the Platform to collect CVs speculatively, build a talent database, or advertise business opportunities, training courses, franchises or multi-level marketing schemes;
- you will never charge a candidate a fee to apply, to be considered, or to start work;
- you will use candidate data only to assess that candidate for the role they applied to, and will handle it in line with section 6 of our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law;
- your recruitment practices will comply with Nigerian labour and anti-discrimination law; and
- you are solely responsible for your hiring decisions and for verifying candidates' credentials and right to work.
Free plan posts are moderated. Job Posts created on a free plan
are submitted with a Pending status and are published only after our
team approves them. We aim to review promptly but do not guarantee a turnaround
time, and we may decline a post that does not meet the standards in section 7.
7 Job post standards
Every Job Post must:
- relate to one role only, and name the hiring company;
- state the job title, type, location and application deadline accurately;
- describe the role, requirements and any benefits honestly;
- state salary information truthfully where given; and
- be free of discriminatory criteria that are not a genuine occupational requirement.
We may edit, unpublish or remove any Job Post that breaches these standards, and
may do so without notice where the post is misleading, unlawful or harmful. Removal
for breach does not entitle you to a refund or to a replacement post credit.
8 Prohibited conduct
You must not:
- use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent or deceptive purpose;
- post content that is defamatory, obscene, harassing, discriminatory or that infringes anyone's rights;
- scrape, crawl, harvest or otherwise systematically extract data — including job listings or candidate information — by automated means;
- copy, modify, reproduce, republish or distribute any part of the Platform without our written permission;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, server or system, or probe, scan or test the security of the Platform;
- introduce malware, or take any action that imposes an unreasonable load on our infrastructure;
- circumvent or attempt to circumvent subscription limits, payment flows, coupon rules or moderation controls; or
- use the Platform to send spam or unsolicited commercial communications.
9 Subscriptions and plans
- Employers need an active Subscription to publish Job Posts. Plans differ in price, the number of Job Posts allowed and the features included; current details are shown on our pricing and subscription pages.
- Each plan has a Job Post limit and a duration in days. Once you reach the limit within a subscription period, you must wait for the next period or upgrade.
- Unused Job Posts do not roll over into the next period and have no cash value.
- A Subscription begins when payment is confirmed and ends on the date shown in your dashboard.
- We may change plan features, limits and prices. Changes take effect from your next subscription period, never retrospectively within a period you have already paid for.
10 Payment, VAT and coupons
- Prices are displayed in Nigerian Naira (₦). Value Added Tax at 7.5% is applied to subscription prices as required by Nigerian law; card processing fees may also apply and are shown before you pay.
- Payments are handled by third-party providers (currently Stripe and Flutterwave). We never receive or store your full card details.
- Your Subscription activates only once the provider confirms the payment as successful. If a payment fails or is reversed, we may suspend the Subscription and unpublish the associated Job Posts.
- Coupon codes are subject to their own validity period, usage limits and plan restrictions. They are non-transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash, and may be withdrawn at any time before use.
- Attempting to reuse, share, forge or otherwise abuse a coupon voids it and may result in account suspension.
- You are responsible for any additional taxes, duties or bank charges imposed in your own jurisdiction.
Where you are a consumer in Nigeria, nothing in these Terms removes your rights
under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act.
11 Refunds and cancellation
- Subscription fees are non-refundable once the Subscription is active and a Job Post has been published under it.
- If you have not published any Job Post, you may request a refund within 7 days of payment by emailing info@delon.ng.
- We will refund in full where a payment was duplicated, taken in error, or where a paid feature was unavailable for a prolonged period due to our fault.
- No refund is due where an account or Job Post is removed for breach of these Terms.
- You may cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future renewal; it does not shorten or refund the period already paid for.
- Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 14 business days of approval.
12 No guarantee of employment or hiring
Delon Jobs is a platform that connects Job Seekers and Employers. We are
not an employer, employment agency or party to any employment
relationship formed through the Platform.
- We do not guarantee that a Job Seeker will receive interviews, offers or employment.
- We do not guarantee that an Employer will receive applications, or applications of any particular quality or number.
- We do not verify the accuracy of Job Posts, the legitimacy of Employers, or the credentials of Job Seekers, and we make no representation about them.
- Any contract of employment or engagement is strictly between the Job Seeker and the Employer.
Stay safe. A legitimate employer will never ask you to pay a
fee to apply, to be shortlisted, or to secure a job. If you are asked for money,
bank details or a National Identification Number early in a process, treat it as
a warning sign and report it to us at
info@delon.ng.
13 Your content and our licence
You keep ownership of the Content you submit. By submitting it, you grant us a
non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce and
display that Content strictly for the purpose of operating and providing the
Platform — for example, showing your Job Post to Job Seekers, or delivering your
application to an Employer.
The licence ends when you delete the Content, except where we must retain a copy
to comply with a legal obligation or to resolve a dispute. You confirm you have
the rights to everything you submit and that it does not infringe third-party
rights.
14 Intellectual property
All content, software, design, trademarks and logos on Delon Jobs — other than
user Content — are owned by or licensed to Delon Outsourcing Solutions Limited
and are protected by intellectual property law. You receive a limited,
revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the
Platform for its intended, non-commercial purpose. All other rights are reserved.
15 Data protection
We process personal data in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023
and, where applicable, the GDPR. Our
Privacy Policy
explains what we collect, why, and what rights you have.
Employers who receive candidate data through the Platform act as independent data
controllers and must comply with applicable data protection law in their own
right. Misuse of candidate data is a material breach of these Terms.
16 Availability and third-party services
We work to keep the Platform available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or
error-free service. We may suspend access for maintenance, upgrades or security,
and will give notice where reasonably practicable.
The Platform depends on third-party services including hosting, email delivery
and payment providers. We are not responsible for failures, delays or outages
caused by those providers, nor for the content of any external site we link to.
17 Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law:
- the Platform is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied;
- we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, including loss of profit, revenue, business opportunity, data or goodwill;
- we are not liable for the conduct of any user, for the accuracy of any Job Post or application, or for the outcome of any recruitment process; and
- our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with these Terms is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the six months before the event giving rise to the claim, or ₦50,000, whichever is greater.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be
excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence,
or for fraud.
18 Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Delon Outsourcing Solutions Limited, its
directors, employees and agents against any claim, loss, liability, cost or
expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these
Terms, your Content, your misuse of the Platform, or your infringement of any
third party's rights.
19 Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access, remove your Content, or close your
account — with notice where practicable, and immediately where the breach is
serious — if you breach these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if we
reasonably believe your use harms other users or the Platform.
You may close your account at any time. On termination, your right to use the
Platform ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive —
including sections 13, 14, 17, 18 and 20 — continue to apply.
20 Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them are
governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without
regard to conflict of law rules.
If a dispute arises, we ask that you first contact us at
info@delon.ng so we can
try to resolve it informally within 30 days. Where that fails, the
parties will consider mediation or another form of alternative dispute resolution
in good faith before commencing proceedings.
Disputes that remain unresolved fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the
competent courts of Nigeria.
21 Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version always appears
on this page with its effective date. Where a change materially affects your
rights or obligations, we will give reasonable notice by email or through a
prominent notice on the Platform. Continuing to use Delon Jobs after a change
takes effect means you accept the revised Terms; if you do not, stop using the
Platform and close your account.
22 General
- Entire agreement: these Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us regarding the Platform.
- Severability: if any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in full force.
- No waiver: failing to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
