We are looking for a results-driven and experienced Area Sales Manager to oversee our sales operations in the South-South region.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key distributor relationships, and leading a high-performing team to achieve revenue and market share targets.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet regional targets.
Manage, mentor, and monitor sales representatives within the assigned territory.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.
Conduct regular market analysis to identify growth opportunities and competitor activity.
Ensure timely collection of payments and adherence to credit policies.
Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to senior management.
Drive brand visibility and consumer engagement in line with the company’s marketing goals.
Requirements
Requirements
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years sales experience in FMCG, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong knowledge of the South-South market terrain.
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work independently and travel extensively within the region.
