Job Description

Job Summary

  • We are looking for a results-driven and experienced Area Sales Manager to oversee our sales operations in the South-South region.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key distributor relationships, and leading a high-performing team to achieve revenue and market share targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet regional targets.
  • Manage, mentor, and monitor sales representatives within the assigned territory.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.
  • Conduct regular market analysis to identify growth opportunities and competitor activity.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments and adherence to credit policies.
  • Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to senior management.
  • Drive brand visibility and consumer engagement in line with the company’s marketing goals.

Requirements

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years sales experience in FMCG, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong knowledge of the South-South market terrain.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and travel extensively within the region.
