Job Summary

• We are looking for a skilled, hardworking, and customer-friendly Grill & Shawarma Operator to manage our outdoor food stand.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, grilling, and serving high-quality meat and shawarma while ensuring excellent hygiene, speed, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation & Cooking:

• Prepare and marinate meats (chicken, beef, suya, etc.)
• Grill meat to perfection using charcoal or gas grill
• Prepare shawarma (wrapping, slicing, stuffing, and heating)
• Ensure consistent taste, portioning, and presentation
• Monitor cooking time and temperature to avoid under/overcooking

Hygiene & Food Safety:

• Maintain a clean and sanitary cooking environment at all times
• Follow proper food handling and storage procedures
• Clean grill equipment, knives, and working surfaces regularly
• Ensure personal hygiene (clean attire, trimmed nails, etc.)

Stock & Inventory Management:

• Monitor stock levels of meat, vegetables, spices, and wraps
• Inform management when stock is low
• Minimize wastage and manage ingredients efficiently

Sales & Customer Service:

• Attend to customers politely and professionally
• Take and process orders quickly
• Handle cash or POS transactions accurately (if required)
• Maintain a friendly and welcoming attitude to encourage repeat customers

Equipment Handling:

• Set up grill and shawarma machine daily
• Ensure proper handling of equipment (grill, gas cylinder, knives)
• Report any faults or maintenance issues promptly
