Job Description

Key Responsibilities1. Team Leadership & Performance Management

  • Lead and manage a community of independent sales agents
  • Build a high-performance sales culture
  • Motivate and inspire agents to meet monthly sales targets
  • Monitor team productivity and sales performance
  • Conduct regular performance check-ins
  • Recognize and reward top-performing agents

2. Sales Support & Deal Closing:

Provide support to independent agents through:

  • . Sales strategy guidance
  • . Proposal review
  • . Objection handling
  • . Client engagement support
  • . Closing assistance
  • . Escalation management

Support agents in converting prospects into paying clients.

3. Training & Onboarding

Responsible for:

  • . Onboarding new agents
  • . Conducting sales training sessions
  •  . Product/service education
  • . Sharing best practices
  • . Continuous coaching and performance improvement initiatives

4. Revenue Growth & Pipeline Management

  • . Track team pipelines
  • . Ensure opportunities are actively pursued
  • . Drive conversion rates
  • . Develop strategies to increase team revenue generation
  • . Identify growth opportunities

5. Commission Tracking & Agent Support

  • . Ensure accurate tracking of agent performance
  • . Collaborate with management regarding commission disbursement
  • . Address agent concerns promptly
  • . Maintain transparency regarding incentives and earnings

6. Reporting & Analysis

Prepare regular reports on:

  • . Revenue performance
  • . Team performance
  • . Agent activity
  • . Challenges
  • . Recommendations for improvement

Requirements

Experience

Required:

  • Minimum 2–4 years experience in B2B sales, business development, or sales management
  • Proven experience meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience leading teams or managing performance

Advantage:

  • Background in real estate sales, commission-based sales structures, insurance, fintech, or similar high-performance environments
  • Experience managing independent sales representatives or agents

Compensation Structure:

  • . Base Salary: ₦70,000 Monthly
  • . Data Allowance: ₦10,000 Monthly
  • . Team Performance Commission: 2.5% commission on total revenue generated by the independent sales team
  • . Direct Sales Commission: 5% commission on personally closed deals
  • . Monthly Performance Bonus: ₦50,000 bonus when the team achieves monthly sales targets
  • . Additional incentives and rewards for sustained target achievement
  • . Salary review after 6 months, subject to team performance and contribution
