Job Description

Job Summary:

  • The Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market coverage, managing relationships with distributors and retailers, and ensuring the availability and visibility of the company's Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) products within the assigned territory.
  • The role requires achieving sales targets while maintaining excellent customer relationships and executing trade activities effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets within the assigned territory.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase market penetration.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and key accounts.
  • Ensure optimum product availability and visibility across all assigned outlets.
  • Conduct regular market visits to monitor stock levels, pricing, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
  • Execute trade promotions, merchandising activities, and in-store marketing initiatives.
  • Generate sales orders and ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
  • Collect market intelligence and provide reports on competitors' products, pricing, and promotional activities.
  • Monitor customers' outstanding payments and support debt recovery efforts in line with company policies.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and route plans.
  • Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Participate in sales meetings, product trainings, and performance reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, processes, and ethical standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum of OND / HND / Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or any related discipline.
  • 1–3 years' experience in FMCG sales or a similar field sales role.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience working with distributors and retail channels is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
