Job Description

Responsibilities:
Sales & Revenue Generation:

  • Actively promote and sell gym merchandise including fitness apparel, supplements, accessories, and wellness products.
  • Engage with members to recommend suitable products based on their fitness goals.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall gym revenue.
  • Upsell and cross - sell products to maximize customer value.

Merchandising & Display:

  • Ensure products are attractively displayed in line with brand standards.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and well - stocked retail areas.
  • Implement visual merchandising strategies to enhance product visibility and sales.
  • Monitor product placement and adjust displays based on demand and trends.

Inventory Management:

  • Track and manage stock levels, ensuring timely replenishment.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and reconciliations.
  • Report low stock levels and coordinate with management for restocking.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of products, especially supplements and consumables.

Customer Experience:

  • Provide a friendly and professional shopping experience for all clients.
  • Address customer inquiries and provide product knowledge and guidance.
  • Handle basic customer concerns or escalate where necessary.

Reporting & Administration:

  • Maintain accurate records of sales transactions and inventory movements.
  • Prepare daily / weekly sales reports as required.
  • Support promotional campaigns, discounts, and product launches.

Collaboration & Support:

  • Work closely with front desk staff and fitness trainers to promote products.
  • Support overall gym operations when required.
  • Participate in marketing activities, fitness events, and campaigns.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of OND / HND / BSc in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • 1 – 2 years experience in retail sales, merchandising, or a similar role.
  • Experience in fitness, wellness, or lifestyle retail is an added advantage.
