Senior QA Engineer (SE0126)

DelonJobs is seeking to hire a Senior QA Engineer for a leading insurance company in Lagos, Nigeria. 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and automating tests to validate the functional and technical aspects of the insurance SaaS platform.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Test Strategy & Planning: Develop and maintain test strategies for end-to-end policy lifecycle, claims workflows, reinsurance modules, and regulatory compliance. \
• Manual & Automated Testing: Create and execute manual test cases, alongside automated scripts (e.g., Selenium, Cypress), for functional, regression, and performance testing. 
• Integration & API Testing: Validate RESTful APIs across microservices architecture (developed in .NET/Node.js) to ensure seamless data flow.  
• Defect Tracking & Collaboration: Document defects, work closely with developers, and track issue resolution through CI/CD pipelines. 
• Continuous Improvement: Provide insights for process improvements and testing automation optimizations in alignment with Agile sprints. 

Requirements: 

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or an IT-related field.  
• QA certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus. 
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise QA roles, preferably testing multi-tenant SaaS or large-scale cloud applications. 
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and CI/CD environments (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions). Other Skills & Competencies 
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. 
• Comfort testing compliance features (IFRS 17, NDPR). 
• Excellent communication skills for on-site, cross-functional collaboration. 
• Attention to detail and methodical test documentation 
• Creative in identifying solutions and improvements for system functionality and user workflows. 
• Strong dedication to providing timely support and ensuring user satisfaction.
