Senior Software Engineer, Backend (Remote)

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our backend team and help design, build, and scale the systems powering our product. This is a fully remote position open to candidates who can work flexibly within U.S. business hours, regardless of physical location.

• 7+ years of professional experience as a backend/software engineer.
• Strong proficiency in one or more of: Java, Python, .NET (C#), or Data Engineering / AI-ML pipelines.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and API design (REST/GraphQL).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern software development practices.
• Native or fluent-level English— both written and verbal — required for daily collaboration with cross-functional, English-speaking teams.
• Ability to work flexibly within U.S. business hours(approximately 9 AM–6 PM ET/CT/MT/PT overlap), regardless of home time zone.
• Strong communication skills and comfort working in a fully remote, asynchronous-first environment.
• Self-motivated with strong ownership mentality — you thrive with autonomy and minimal oversight.

Nice to Have

• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Background in AI/ML model deployment or MLOps.
• Experience working on high-scale, high-availability systems.
