DelonJobs is seeking to hire an IT Project Manager for a leading Insurance Company in Lagos, Nigeria.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing and implementing the company’s Information Technology (IT) projects, utilizing the available resources to achieve the project goals in addition to serving as liaison between the business and project vendors.
Interested candidate must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or an IT related field with at least a minimum of 7-8 years of experience in an IT Project Management role, preferably in a financial or insurance company.
Annual gross salary is between N13M - N17M

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensures clear and validated business requirements are gathered and agreed upon by all stakeholders before project initiation.
- Oversees requirement quality (completeness, correctness, testability, traceability).
- Supports Business Analysts in translating requirements into clear, actionable specifications.
- Leads the execution of IT projects, including documentation (initiation documents, plans, and reports).
- Works closely with the CTO to prioritize projects and delivery timelines.
- Maintains strong stakeholder engagement and provides regular project status updates.
- Coordinates cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery.
- Creates and maintains business process models (BPMN) and documentation (As-is/To-be).
- Monitors and reports on process performance improvements.
- Participates in UAT and supports change management activities.
- Leads the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) across the organization.
- Develops and maintains detailed project plans, managing risks and roadblocks.
- Defines and manages project scope, objectives, and performance using appropriate tools.
- Manages vendor and stakeholder relationships, both internal and external.
- Identifies and mitigates risks across multiple concurrent projects.
