Position Overview:
As the Cleaner Supervisor at Broadway Cafeteria, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the cleanliness and sanitation of our facility. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision and Team Leadership:
- Lead and supervise a team of cleaners, ensuring they are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties effectively.
- Schedule and coordinate cleaning shifts to cover all areas of the cafeteria.
- Cleaning Operations:
- Oversee the day-to-day cleaning operations, including the thorough cleaning of kitchen areas, dining spaces, restrooms, and common areas.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, paying particular attention to high-touch surfaces.
- Quality Control:
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure that cleaning tasks are completed to the highest standards.
- Implement quality control measures to maintain a consistently clean and hygienic environment.
- Inventory Management:
- Manage and track cleaning supplies and equipment inventory.
- Place orders for cleaning supplies and maintain optimal stock levels.
- Training and Development:
- Train new cleaning staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and the proper use of cleaning equipment.
- Provide ongoing training to existing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Equipment Maintenance:
- Ensure that all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.
- Arrange for repairs or replacements as needed.
- Coordination with Other Departments:
- Collaborate with kitchen staff, servers, and other departments to coordinate cleaning schedules and address specific cleaning needs.
- Hygiene and Sanitation:
- Implement and enforce hygiene and sanitation protocols to prevent the spread of germs and maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Monitor and adhere to COVID-19 guidelines and other health regulations.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and submit regular reports on cleaning activities, inventory status, and any issues encountered.
- Maintain accurate documentation of cleaning procedures and protocols.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role in cleaning or facilities management.
