Job Description
We are a new restaurant that opened up in August of this year, and we are looking forward to employing well-meaning and result-driven individuals to take on available roles within the restaurant. We make and sell daily available meals / grills / juices from our menu via single or bulk orders, as well as, many other services.
Duties;
- Preparing awesome meals according to the daily available menu for our customers.
- Can cook fast food meals like Waffle, Sandwich, stir-fry indomie, etc., within a time frame.
- Can effectively press fresh fruits, make zobo, etc., and store for sales.
- Can proffer better ideas to meals, and update menu to attract more customers
- Can weigh, measure, mix, and prep ingredients according to recipes.
- Good at marinating, steaming, grilling, broiling, baking, or frying meats, fish, vegetables, and other ingredients.
- Should be smart to keep records and check food and ingredients for freshness, and accountability.
- Good at arranging and garnishing dishes for takeout sales.
- Works well under pressure and within the time limit.
- Ensures that the kitchen area, equipment and utensils are cleaned.
- Helping lead and inspire other kitchen staff if any, with the restaurant manager.
- Wowing our guests with amazing dishes.
Requirements;
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Culinary school 2-4 year degree or equivalent.
- Prior experience in related food and beverage service and food preparation positions.
- Thorough experience with hot and cold food preparation.
- Good working knowledge of accepted sanitation standards and health codes.
- Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, etc.
- Able to handle work in a fast-paced environment.
