Plan, implement and co-ordinate maintenance strategy aimed at achieving optimum equipment availability, 95% CER and CHAMPS in all KFC stores.

Decide optimal levels of outsourced services to compliment internal technical GPM services and also to monitor their performance.

Prepare and monitor monthly and annual budget for the maintenance of KFC store equipments, buildings and utilities (Gas, Water, Generator and Electricity).

Agree architectural designs for all new KFC stores to suit the peculiarities of each site as well as conforming to the agreed YUM! Restaurants International standards.

Ensure that all utilities such as Water, Gas, Generator and Electricity needed for smooth operations of KFC stores are provided for in sufficient quantities.

Jointly compile, implement and control capital budget.

Co-ordinate the documentation of maintenance activities in all KFC store and produce the requisite data for management information.

Plan for the requisition and supply of spares and materials for use in equipment maintenance in all KFC store and maintain inventory of the same at both the store and warehouse level.

Develop, implement and maintain a database of all equipment in all KFC stores and their history records.

Responsible for defects list at project completions. Ensure that defects are rectified and design integrity maintained at no extra cost to the business within the defects liability period.

Monitor on daily basis utility services consumption and analyze the usage pattern.

Ensure that all fire prevention and safety systems are put in place in all KFC stores and warehouse.

Review staff performance on the job and make recommendations for discipline, rewards: recruit, train and develop staff.

Function in other capacities as may be determined by management.
