Responsibilities:

1. Surface Preparation:
   • Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying appropriate primers.
   • Ensure the removal of old paint, rust, and imperfections to create a smooth and even base.
2. Color Mixing and Matching:
   • Mix paint colors to match vehicle specifications, ensuring accurate color reproduction.
   • Consult color charts and samples to achieve precise color matching.
3. Paint Application:
   • Apply paint to vehicles using various techniques, including spraying, brushing, and rolling.
   • Ensure an even and consistent coat of paint to achieve a flawless finish.
4. Customization and Detailing:
   • Collaborate with design and customization teams to implement unique paint schemes and graphics.
   • Execute intricate detailing work to enhance the aesthetic appeal of armored vehicles.
5. Quality Inspection:
   • Conduct thorough inspections of painted surfaces to identify and rectify any imperfections.
   • Ensure that the final product meets Proforce's high standards for quality and durability.
6. Surface Repair and Restoration:
   • Repair and restore damaged or scratched paint surfaces on armored vehicles.
   • Use color-matching techniques to seamlessly integrate repairs with the existing paint.
7. Painting Equipment Maintenance:
   • Maintain and clean painting equipment, including spray guns, brushes, and mixing tools.
   • Conduct regular inspections to ensure proper functioning of equipment.
8. Safety Compliance:
   • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when working with paints, solvents, and other chemicals.
   • Utilize personal protective equipment to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Certificate from an appropriate programme or a trade test for spray painting certification
• three years of minimum related experience.
• Technical
• Possessing excellent spraying skill and paint mixing ability.
• capacity to distinguish minute colour variations.
• familiarity with protective gear and breathing masks.
• the capacity to handle strong chemicals and acid.
• capacity for prolonged standing.
