Job Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming, to maintain cleanliness throughout the facility.
• Clean and sanitize common areas, restrooms, offices, and other designated spaces as per established cleaning standards.
• Empty and dispose of waste bins regularly, ensuring proper segregation and disposal of recyclable and non-recyclable materials.
• Monitor and replace trash liners as needed to maintain a hygienic and orderly environment.
• Use appropriate cleaning agents and disinfectants to sanitize surfaces, door handles, and high-touch areas to prevent the spread of germs.
• Follow established protocols for cleaning and disinfecting during and after public events or high-traffic periods.
• Sweep, mop, and polish floors to maintain a clean and polished appearance.
• Operate floor cleaning equipment, such as buffing machines, as needed for a thorough and efficient cleaning process.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors to ensure a streak-free and visually appealing appearance.
• Address any specific cleaning needs related to glass surfaces in different areas of the facility.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other consumables in restrooms and common areas.
• Report any shortages or maintenance needs to the appropriate channels.
• Collaboration with Team:
• Work collaboratively with fellow cleaners to ensure consistent and high-quality cleaning standards are maintained.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to address specific cleaning requirements or challenges.
• Specialized Cleaning:
• Perform specialized cleaning tasks as needed, such as carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, and other deep-cleaning projects.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and use appropriate equipment for specialized cleaning tasks.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in commercial or institutional cleaning is preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques, tools, and products.
• Ability to lift and carry cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods.
• Understanding of safety protocols and the proper use of cleaning chemicals.
