Job Description

Responsibilities

  1. On a daily basis, refer to the list of necessary ingredients and review the inventory.
  2. Purchase ingredients that aren't in storage before the day's first meal
  3. Give the kitchen workers a schedule breakdown and assign the proper tasks.
  4. Organize ingredients by chopping meats and veggies.
  5. Assist the chief chef in preparing meals based on predetermined recipes.
  6. Keep an eye on the food budget and make sure that all products are purchased for the designated amount.
  7. Make preparations to keep food in a secure and organized manner Rotate frozen food items in accordance with the guidelines in the kitchen rule book.
  8. When preparing cuisine, give the head chef the ingredients and utensils.
  9. Maintain order in the kitchen by making sure the surfaces you're working on are clean.
