Job Responsibilities

  • Data Collection and Processing:
    • Acquire, clean, and preprocess large datasets to ensure accuracy and reliability.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define data requirements and specifications.
  • Data Analysis and Interpretation:
    • Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and outliers.
    • Utilize statistical methods and predictive modeling to extract actionable insights.
  • Dashboard and Report Creation:
    • Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports to present key findings to stakeholders.
    • Ensure data visualizations are clear, insightful, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Data Quality Assurance:
    • Implement data quality checks and validation processes to maintain accurate and reliable datasets.
    • Identify and address data inconsistencies and anomalies.
  • Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams:
    • Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements.
    • Collaborate on projects that leverage data to solve business challenges and drive improvements.
  • Continuous Learning and Improvement:
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analysis.
    • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance data analysis methodologies and tools.
  • Communication of Insights:
    • Communicate complex analytical findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their information needs and tailor insights accordingly.
  • Data Security and Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations.
    • Implement and adhere to best practices for data governance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 1 year of experience.
  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, or others.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with data governance principles and practices.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and challenges.
  • Elicit, document, and analyze business requirements, processes, and workflows.
  • Translate business requirements into clear and concise functional specifications for technical teams.
