Job Responsibilities

  • Data Entry and Verification:
  • Accurately input and update data into our databases, spreadsheets, and other systems.
  • Verify the accuracy of data entries to maintain a high level of precision and completeness.
  • Database Management:
  • Organize and maintain electronic and paper files, ensuring data is classified and stored appropriately.
  • Perform regular data cleaning and purging to eliminate duplicate or outdated records.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Conduct regular quality checks on data entries to identify and correct errors.
  • Collaborate with team members to address any discrepancies or inconsistencies in the data.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Generate routine reports and summaries based on the entered data.
  • Assist in analyzing data trends and patterns to provide insights for decision-making.
  • Information Retrieval:
  • Retrieve and compile requested data from various sources in a timely manner.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
  • Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with colleagues in different departments to gather and verify data.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure data accuracy and resolve any issues.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement in data entry procedures.
  • Propose and implement solutions to enhance data accuracy and efficiency.
  • Time Management:
  • Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines for data entry projects.
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree preferable.
  • Completion of NYSC or an exemption certificate.
  • Experience in health- related M&E is an added advantage.
  • Hands on experience in the use of computer (Word processing, Excel, and database programs).
  • Good communication and reporting skills including proficiency in both written and spoken English.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in data entry is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Data Entry Assistant or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in using data entry software, databases, and MS Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and verification.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and convey information clearly.
