Job Overview:

As a Data & Process Specialist at ING, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness of our data management and business processes. You will play a key role in driving data-driven decision-making and process optimization across various business units. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, a passion for working with data, and a knack for identifying opportunities to streamline and enhance business processes.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement data quality standards and best practices.
• Conduct thorough data analysis to derive actionable insights and support informed decision-making.
• Develop and generate regular and ad-hoc reports to communicate key performance indicators and business metrics.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains across various business functions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement optimized business processes.
• Explore and implement automation solutions to streamline repetitive tasks and enhance process efficiency.
• Integrate data and process solutions with existing and emerging technologies.
• Document existing processes and data workflows to ensure transparency and consistency.
• Establish and maintain process documentation standards for various business units.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including business analysts, IT professionals, and decision-makers, to understand data and process requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Ensure data and process activities comply with relevant regulations, policies, and industry standards.
• Collaborate with risk management teams to identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data management and process optimization.
• Pursue professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience in data management and process optimization roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
• Experience with process mapping, documentation, and improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with data governance principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Knowledge of automation tools and technologies is a plus.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
