Key Responsibilities:

- Predictive Modeling:
- Develop and implement predictive models to forecast business outcomes, customer behaviors, and market trends.
- Apply machine learning techniques to enhance the accuracy of predictions and recommendations.
- Customer Segmentation and Personalization:
- Segment customers based on their behavior, preferences, and demographics to enable targeted marketing strategies.
- Implement personalization strategies to enhance customer experiences across various channels.
- Fraud Detection and Risk Management:
- Implement advanced analytics models for fraud detection and risk assessment.
- Collaborate with risk management teams to enhance the effectiveness of risk mitigation strategies.
- Operational Optimization:
- Collaborate with operational teams to identify areas for optimization and efficiency improvement.
- Develop models to optimize resource allocation, streamline processes, and reduce operational costs.
- Data Governance and Quality Assurance:
- Implement data governance practices to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data.
- Collaborate with data engineers to maintain data quality standards and resolve data-related issues.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with business analysts, IT teams, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and objectives.
- Translate business problems into data science solutions and communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Continuous Learning and Research:
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in data science, machine learning, and analytics.
- Conduct research to explore and recommend new tools, techniques, and methodologies for data analysis.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related disciplines.
- Minimum experience: 3 years as a data scientist
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role, preferably within the financial industry.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis and machine learning.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, scikit-learn, PyTorch).
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and experimental design.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for effective communication of insights.
- Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
