Job Description

The consultant will work under the authority of the Head of the Office of UNESCO in Libreville and the direct supervision of the Education Program Specialist. He / she will be responsible for the Coordinationthe implementation of the “IEC activities on STIs, HIV-AIDS, reproductive health for adolescents” relating to the RCEJAPS project. He or she will be responsible for the following tasks: Main tasks: 1. Ensure the finalization of the development / contextualization of the legal framework for the integration of Education in Sexual and Reproductive Health or Comprehensive Education in Sexuality in the TVET sub-sector; 2. Lead the development of educational tools for the integration of ECS / ESSR in the host disciplines: training plans for trainers and training modules for teachers and trainers of trainers (educational supervisors and ENSET teachers) – Adaptation of training modules for supervisors and parents – Update of self-training tools for existing teachers; 3. Strengthen the capacities of personnel in ECS / ESSR: young leaders, teachers, supervisory personnel, trainers of trainers of administrative supervisory personnel and persons in charge of PTAs; 4. Develop the campaign mock-up and the staff end-of-training report; 5. Coordinate the experimentation of the ECS curriculum for TVET: implementation, monitoring and evaluation; 6. Develop and implement a communication plan aimed at the targets of the TVET sub-sector with a view to changing behavior; 7. Updating of communication tools for young people: “Questions adolescents ask themselves about SRH” and the “Hello Ado” mobile application; awareness videos and messages; 8. Coordinate campaigns to mobilize members of the educational community: students, parents, and school staff; 9. Write the final report on awareness-raising actions among learners and students; 10. Write the end-of-mission report 11. Ensure that the context of the project is taken into account. Organize the liaison between the Bureau and the project partners and participate in joint working groups on the themes associated with the project; Develop for the mission an inclusive and participatory methodology and a monitoring strategy as well as an evaluation plan; 13. Work in close collaboration with the TVET sub-sector of the Ministry of Education and national stakeholders in the field; 14. Carry out all other tasks requested in line with the skills and needs of the process.
