Gentle Towers Hotels and Suites are in search of a dynamic and innovative Fashion Designer to join our creative team. As a Fashion Designer with our company, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the aesthetic direction of our brand, creating visually stunning and trendsetting designs. If you have a passion for fashion, an eye for detail, and a flair for creativity, we invite you to bring your unique perspective and design expertise to our vibrant team, you will be responsible for researching trends, creating design concepts, sketching designs, selecting fabrics and trims, and overseeing the production process, designing and creating clothes from scratch for a customer, such as suits, jackets, blazers, pants and more. Job Responsibilities

1. Conceptualization and Design:

• Lead the conceptualization and design process, translating creative ideas into original and inspiring fashion designs.
• Develop sketches, illustrations, and mood boards to communicate design concepts effectively.

2. Market Research:

   – Stay abreast of current fashion trends, consumer preferences, and emerging styles through continuous market research.

   – Identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation within the fashion industry.

3. Fabric and Material Selection:

• Source and select appropriate fabrics and materials for each design, considering factors such as texture, color, and sustainability.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the availability of high-quality materials for production.

4. Pattern Making and Prototyping:

• Create detailed patterns for garments, ensuring precision and accuracy in measurements.
• Oversee the prototyping process, making adjustments as needed to achieve the desired fit and aesthetic.

5. Collaboration with Production Team:

• Work closely with the production team to ensure that designs are translated seamlessly from concept to the final product.
• Provide guidance on manufacturing processes, quality control, and production timelines.

6. Client Interaction and Custom Designs:

• • Collaborate with clients on custom design requests, ensuring a personalized and unique experience.
  • Gather client feedback and make necessary adjustments to meet individual preferences.

7. Quality Assurance:

• Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure that finished products meet design specifications and brand standards.
• Conduct inspections and revisions as necessary throughout the production process.

8. Trend Forecasting:

• • Proactively identify and forecast upcoming fashion trends to inform future design directions.
  • Contribute insights to the development of seasonal collections that resonate with target audiences.

Qualifications

• • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Fashion Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative designs.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • In-depth knowledge of fabrics, materials, and garment construction techniques.
  • Strong understanding of current fashion trends and a keen eye for emerging styles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a creative team.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to precision in design execution.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced fashion environment.
