Job Description
- Provide technical guidance in and support the design and implementation of integrated gender-transformative programming in MNCH/FP/RH interventions, including women’s empowerment, men’s engagement, and couple-focused interventions;
- Provide technical guidance in and support the design and implementation of integrated quality adolescent programming, including a systematic adolescent/youth-responsive health systems approach, meaningful youth engagement, and special populations including first-time parents;
- Ensure compliance with USAID Youth and Gender policies;
- In collaboration with the MEL team, strengthen service data/monitoring to ensure that youth and gender inequities are tracked and appropriate response strategies are implemented; organize and support regular monitoring among local districts, partners, and service providers; analyze and report on program and project progress;
- Collaborate with the MIHR Gender and Youth Lead for the implementation of training on youth and gender for project staff, USAID, stakeholders, counterparts, health providers (clinic and community level), and others as needed;
- Contribute to annual work planning, training plans, quarterly reports and other required technical reports, and document key achievements and lessons learned for the program Gender & Youth activities;
- Monitor and provide technical assistance for gender and youth aspects of field activities.
