Job Description
- Responsible for developing and the review existing policies, measures and update them according to legislation.
- Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures,
- Initiate and organize OHStraining of employees and executives
- Performing inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Oversee installations, maintenance, disposal of substances, etc.
- Identify and rule out unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy
- Record and investigate incidents to determine causes
- Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information for management
Qualifications / Requirements
- First Degree in Engineering, Safety Management or relevant field from any reputable institution in Nigeria
- 1-3 years of experience as HSE personnel in a well-structured environment
- NEBOSH/OSHA Certification will be a huge plus
- Sound communications skills (Written & Verbal)
- Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices
- Ideal candidate must be resident in Ikorodu or its environs
- Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Applications
