- Provide support for IT equipment and end-user software within the company, including laptops, printers, and intercom.
- Troubleshoot and ensure that IT services are working optimally for end users to carry out their duty efficiently.
- Monitor the external services provided by Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
- Carry out installation, configuration, routine preventive maintenance/checks and any necessary repair on all IT hardware equipment and computer accessories/peripherals.
- Provide new joiners with IT equipment set up according to their needs.
- Create and implement electronic data backup system to prevent loss of information.
- Monitor network performance to determine whether adjustments or changes need to be made.
- Create and update log sheet of all ICT issues managed with the status of resolution.
- Ensure ICT Issues are attended to and resolved efficiently within the turnaround time of at most 48 hours.
- Install, troubleshoot and maintain desktop software applications and operating systems like Microsoft Office suite, Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10.
- Recommend best hardware type and specification for end users best suited for their scope of work.
- Train employees in computer system or software use.
- Reduce vendor service costs by fixing minor equipment issues.
- Undertake IT Projects as required.
Qualification
- Degree or HND in Computer Science, Engineering or any of the related Social Sciences.
- 1 – 3 years work experience.
Required Professional Qualifications:
Any of the following ICT Professional certifications:
- Data Analytics.
- Microsoft Certifications.
- ITIL.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate.
