Job Overview:

As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Tekrecruiters, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products and systems. Key Responsibilities:

1. Test Planning:
   • Collaborate with project managers and development teams to understand project requirements.
   • Design comprehensive and effective test plans based on project specifications.
2. Test Execution:
   • Execute manual and automated tests to identify software defects and ensure functionality.
   • Conduct regression testing to validate bug fixes and new features.
3. Automation Testing:
   • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard testing tools.
   • Implement test automation strategies to enhance efficiency and coverage.
4. Defect Tracking:
   • Identify, document, and track defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
   • Work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution of issues.
5. Performance Testing:
   • Conduct performance testing to evaluate the responsiveness and scalability of software.
   • Identify and address performance bottlenecks.
6. User Acceptance Testing (UAT):
   • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and execute UAT plans.
   • Ensure that software meets user expectations and business requirements.
7. Continuous Improvement:
   • Analyze testing processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
   • Implement best practices to enhance the overall quality assurance process.
8. Documentation:
   • Maintain detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results.
   • Provide clear and concise reports on testing activities and outcomes.
9. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
   • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to align testing efforts with business goals.
   • Participate in sprint planning and review meetings.
10. Training and Mentoring:
    • Provide training and guidance to junior members of the QA team.
    • Share knowledge and best practices with the broader development team.
11. Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in quality assurance.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies and testing techniques.
• Experience with manual and automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
• Proficiency in scripting languages for test automation (e.g., Java, Python).
• Knowledge of performance testing tools and techniques.
• Familiarity with version control systems and continuous integration.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
