Job Description

DelonJobs is seeking to hire a Resourcing & Engagement Manager for a security outfit located in Lagos, Nigeria. The individual would be responsible for overseeing nationwide HR operations and service delivery for the company's pool of operatives and related outsourced staff. This includes recruitment, workforce planning, talent management and employee engagement, to strengthen the employee experience and enhance retention. Interested candidates must possess a minimum of a minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field. MBA or relevant post graduate degree would be added advantage. Job Responsibilities:

  • Forecast staffing needs and requirements across locations and maintain a strong pipeline of operatives for activation.
  • Generate strategic insights to support business decision making and proffer recommendations for improvement.
  • Design and implement effective recruitment and sourcing strategies for PS operatives nationwide.
  • Lead recruitment of best fit cadets and facilitate sound, seamless onboarding, and deployment of trained cadets.
  • Articulate and drive a vibrant and compelling Employee Value Proposition for Halogen to attract and retain operatives across board.
  • Deploy appropriate strategies to address short-manning and minimize income loss and risks to the business and clients.
  • Design and implement strategies, plans, policies to drive engagement and retention including performance management, rewards, learning and development, career management, employee communications etc.
  • Build a superior guarding workforce and ensure alignment with Halogen’s value and culture.
  • Coordinate and liaise with Operations team and ASS division on the training and upskilling of Halogen operatives. Ensure cadets/operative possess the required skillset before deployment.
  • Manage HR operations and facilitate efficient, excellent service delivery.
  • Develop supporting policies and processes; review and update as required.
  • Drive process improvements and ensure sound practices across operations.
  • Manage performance, facilitate development, coach, and mentor subordinates.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • Relevant HR certifications (CIPM, CIPD, SHRM, HRCI) would be an advantage.
  • Minimum of eight years’ HR experience including in-depth HR operations and service delivery experience; recruitment and management of large pools of employees; and the use of HRIS and other related technologies.
