Job Description
Reporting to the Head of Finance and IT, the Senior Finance Officer – Partnership Operations will lead on all partnership management processes for WaterAid Malawi in line with Partnership Strategy. The position ensures that risks to WaterAid emanating from partnerships are kept to acceptable levels in line with WaterAid policies and procedures. It is also responsible for systematic strategic support on capacity development of partner organisations on financial management including promotion of best practices.
Key responsibilities for the incumbent include risk management, financial planning, financial reporting, implementation of internal controls, partner financial assurance, donor contracts and sub-award management, asset management and staff management
