Job Description

Delonjobs is looking to hire a Unit Head – Server & Storage – Server & Storage – Windows Servers and Dell Converged system (VXTRIL) administration for a financial institution in Lagos, Nigeria. The ideal candidate would be responsible Should have In-depth knowledge of Windows Server operating systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting with proficiency in virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V). Interested candidates must possess a minimum of a first degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field with Several years of hands-on experience in administering Windows servers and Dell Converged Systems, with a focus on VXTRIL. Technical Skills:

In-depth knowledge of Windows Server operating systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

Expertise in Dell Converged Systems, particularly VXTRIL, encompassing administration, maintenance, and optimization.

Proficiency in virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).

Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols relevant to server administration.

Familiarity with storage technologies, backup and recovery processes, and security best practices.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

Professional certifications in relevant areas such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, Dell EMC Certified, or other industry-recognized certifications would be beneficial.

Several years of hands-on experience in administering Windows servers and Dell Converged Systems, with a focus on VXTRIL.

Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role, demonstrating the ability to manage a team and oversee complex IT infrastructure projects.

A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is often preferred.
