The Role:

We are hiring a Cybersecurity & DevOps Engineer to strengthen our defences from the inside out. You will lead Vulnerability Assessments and Penetration Testing across our web applications, mobile applications, APIs, and networks ensuring Corvyn AI’s platform remains resilient against evolving external threats. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you will blend deep security expertise with DevOps practices to keep our environment safe and compliant in a fast-moving fintech landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and ethical penetration testing on web apps, mobile apps (iOS/Android), REST/GraphQL APIs, and internal/external networks.
• Identify, prioritise, and report security weaknesses with clear, actionable remediation steps for engineering teams.
• Embed security into DevOps workflows (DevSecOps): automate vulnerability scanning in CI/CD pipelines, secure Infrastructure-as-Code, container security, and cloud infrastructure.
• Perform threat modelling, security code reviews, and continuous monitoring to proactively defend against external risks.
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product teams to build security by design into our AI platform.
• Stay ahead of emerging threats, conduct red-team exercises, and recommend tools/processes that strengthen our overall security posture.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards (NDPR, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, and CBN guidelines).

Requirements:

• 3+ years of practical experience in penetration testing, vulnerability management, and ethical hacking.
• Strong DevOps background: CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform/Ansible, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and scripting (Python, Bash, or Go).
• Proficiency with industry tools: Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, Metasploit, Nmap, Nessus/OpenVAS, MobSF, SQLMap, Postman, and API security tools.
• Deep knowledge of web, mobile, API, and network security (OWASP Top 10, API security best practices, mobile reverse engineering).
• Relevant certifications preferred: OSCP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, PNPT, or equivalent.
• Fintech or regulated-industry experience is a strong plus.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
• Must be based in or willing to work full-time onsite in Lagos, Nigeria.
