Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the organisation to ensure efficiency, productivity, and smooth service delivery across all departments. The role involves managing operational processes, supervising teams, coordinating resources, and ensuring compliance with organisational policies and industry standards.

The Operations Manager will also support the successful execution of cybersecurity and IT service operations, ensuring projects, support services, and internal processes align with business objectives and client expectations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • . Oversee daily operational activities across departments to ensure smooth workflow and service delivery.
  • . Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and process improvements.
  • . Coordinate internal teams to ensure efficient execution of cybersecurity and IT operations.
  • . Monitor operational performance and ensure targets and deliverables are achieved.
  • . Supervise administrative, technical, and support staff to ensure productivity and accountability.
  • . Ensure effective allocation and utilization of company resources.
  • . Maintain operational standards and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • . Monitor project execution and provide operational support to ensure timely delivery.
  • . Prepare operational reports and provide updates to management on performance and challenges.
  • . Identify operational risks and implement corrective and preventive measures.
  • . Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with external service providers when necessary.
  • . Ensure proper documentation and record keeping for operational activities.
  • . Support business continuity and operational efficiency initiatives.
  • . Resolve operational issues promptly to minimise disruption to business activities.
  • . Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective service delivery and support.
  • . Carry out other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

  • . Proven experience as an Operations Manager, Operations Supervisor, or similar role within the IT or cybersecurity industry.
  • . Strong understanding of operational management principles and business processes.
  • . Excellent leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • . Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • . Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
  • . Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and operational reporting systems.
  • . Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • . Knowledge of cybersecurity operations and IT service management is an added advantage.
  • . Ability to lead teams and drive operational efficiency.
  • . High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability.
  • . Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • . Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • . Professional certifications in Operations Management or Project Management are an added advantage.
